David Allard

David spends his days exercising his creative juices and passionately looking for ways to help clients experience a better retirement through our Navigator process. With over two decades experience in the financial services industry, David can fortunately say he loves what he does. With over 80% of our clients retired, and the rest headed in that direction, David has worked hard to become an expert in retirement planning.  With this experience he created a unique retirement planning software application called ‘The Retireability Score’.

Along with the retirement planning, David oversees our wealth management process for affluent individuals, families and business owners.

David completed his MBA and Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation in 1998 and was awarded a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2000. Most recently he completed the Master Financial Advisor (MFA) program (Succession & Estate Planning Specialist) and received his designation in 2013 from the Knowledge Bureau  In June 2014, he received a Certificate in Retirement Coaching from the Retirement Options Program. He is a founding member and Past President of the CFA Okanagan Society, and is a member of the CFA Institute and Financial Planning Standards Council.  He sits on the research committee for the Financial Planning Foundation of Canada.

David resides in Kelowna with his wife Adrienne and their children. David is also passionate about his sports, which include hockey, cycling, running, yoga and skiing.
