Gordon is the lead portfolio manager on The Navigation Team at Scotia Wealth Management, with over a quarter century of experience. As lead portfolio manager, he is responsible for managing our investment management process and all discretionary portfolios.
He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter in 2000, the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter in 2006, and completed the Executive MBA program at Simon Fraser University in 2012.
David spends his days exercising his creative juices and passionately looking for ways to help clients experience a better retirement through our Navigator process. With over two decades experience in the financial services industry, David can fortunately say he loves what he does. With over 80% of our clients retired, and the rest headed in that direction, David has worked hard to become an expert in retirement planning. With this experience he created a unique retirement planning software application called ‘The Retireability Score’.
Along with the retirement planning, David oversees our wealth management process for affluent individuals, families and business owners.
Lynette has been with The Navigation Team since our inception in 2006 and has helped shape our business into what it is today. Lynette works closely with our Portfolio Manager, Gordon Bell, in managing asset allocation strategies and executing our large volume of trades. Her attention to detail and structured processes ensure client accounts are maintained and rebalanced within their asset mix ranges..
Alanna has been with ScotiaMcLeod since 2007 and has over 14 years of industry experience as a fully licensed Registered Representative. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has attained her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.
Alanna supports our wealth management process by working with David in providing customized solutions and delivering a high level of service to our clients.
